------------------------ halley was absolutely miserable. she had been cooped up in her dorm all day, all because she had been retarded the night before. If she hadnt let Brayden and Chandler convince her to drink that damn Tequila, she might of woke up without the pounding headache. She could handle to part where she wouldnt be able to look at alcohol for the next week and a half, but not the headaches. she hated the fact that she couldnt even move or walk out side without her brain nearly exploding. So, she had remained in her room, sunglasses on, shades drawn over the windows, and the lights off. Even then, she had barely been able to cope with the pain in her temples.
Now. Here she was. starving. bored out of her mind. and it was 10:30 at night. no one was on AIM, as usual, and she had to get out of her house, before she went completely crazy and threw her brand new Jimmy Choo heels through her upstairs window. So, very carefully, she took a shower. Amazingly, the girl had gone all day without taking one, when she usually taken about three a day. that was a good sign she wasnt feeling good. after she got dressed, she slipped on a grey hoodie, and a pair of flats, and grabbed her pink sidekick. Thank god, it had been relatively quiet for the whole day, otherwise, she probably would of stuck it in the microwave of something.
at first, as she left the dorm, halley had no clue where she was going to go. she deffinently didnt want to go to a friends house, because they would give her shit for looking like it, and a party was out of the question. she looked like crap, and she really didnt want to run into anyone. as she thought about this, she felt herself walking towards the lake. why? she had no clue. but it seemed like a good place, and there most likely wouldnt be anyone there. hopefully.
she was right. the place was completely empty, and the water was calm. there was no breeze, and halley was beginning to feel a bit sticky in the hoodie she had on. she sighed, pulling out her cell phone, checking it for messages that she knew werent there. She found a picnic table, getting up on top of it and laying down, looking up at the sky. there were no clouds, and there seemed to be about a million starts out.[/ul][/blockquote]

The lake was never crowded and for some reason it was avoided by the school staff. It almost always was deserted and now Brayden figured it would be a good place to take a walk tonight. He usually did his runs pass the lake and sometimes stopped for a swim every now and then, just working out. Tonight, Brayden dressed in a navy blue american eagle shirt and a pair of blue jeans.
Brayden had spent the previous night with Halley and her friend Chandler. They were all pretty good friends and were just hanging out and drinking a little. Going to the lake was just a way to get away from everyone, especially at night. He usually went undisturbed unless somebody wanted to go skinny dipping or something. But tonight Brayden wasn't so lucky, he had spotted someone ontop of the picnic table ahead of him. He smirked when he recognized the figure to be Halley. He wondered why she was just out here, laying on the table in the middle of nowhere. "Hey" he greeted, taking a seat at the table, with a raised eyebrow. "What are you doing?" he asked with a small smile.

------------------------ halley had drifted off into a half sleep, half awake state of mind. she felt her phone vibrate suddenly, and she jumped about a mile off of the picnic table, coming back down on the hard wood with a crash! that sounded a whole lot louder than normal. she groaned, her headache intensifying by about 1000 percent. she looked down at her phone, and saw that it was a text from Erika. She cursed, flipping open the sidekick, her eyes reading the screen. she shook her head, hitting reply. Her fingers flew over the keys, replying. she hit send, shutting her phone and sticking it back in her hoodie pocket.
she layed back down, her eyes drifting shut again. she was, for some reason, tired. she had slept most of the day, yet, she felt as if she had been awake for about a million years. she sighed softly, relaxing as much as possible against the hard wood table.
Then, once again, she was awakened from her cat nap. she didnt recognize the voice at first, and was ready to snap at whoever it belonged to. she groaned, opening her eyes, and turning her head to face them. as her eyes adjusted to the light, or dark in this case, she recognized brayden, and her face turned into a scowl. "what am I doing? Im TRYING to get over that damn hang over from last night. Next time, YOU AND CHANDLER can do the tequila shots..." she said, moaning at the thought of a next time. she rubbed her forehead, as if that would magically make her headache disapear. "And what the hell are you doing here?" she asked, looking back at him, the mad look still on her face. [/ul][/blockquote]

Brayden waited for Halley to get up and notice him, to show some sign that she was alive and not passed out on the table. He smirked when she sat up and spoke to him, he laughed when she finished. He, Chandler and Halley were drinking last night and obviously she was still a little hung over from the tequila. Apparently she wasn't too happy about it and suffered from a headache from what he could tell. Brayden smiled at her and rubbed her stomach, "Aww, you okay?" he asked jokingly, with a fake sympathetic tone. He grinned and banged his hands against the wooden table, just to make noise. "I don't think there'll be a next time. I don't think you can hang with us" he joked, leaning on the table. He raised an eyebrow, "Well, I was coming here to take a walk, but I saw you and decided to talk. My mistake I guess" he said sarcastically.

------------------------ halley very rarely got irritable with brayden. except for when she was in a bad mood. and he usually wasnt. poor brayden, had managed to catch her on a bad day. she smacked his hand away, groaning. "Brayden. you. are. no. helping." she said through clenched teeth as she heard his head hit the table and the vibrations travel through her body. "Please. just stop. ill do anything." she said, her hands flying to her head as if it were about to explode. which it felt like it could do at any given moment.
"Cant hang with us?" she asked, moving her hands away to look at brayden. "Whos us? you and chandler? bitch please. who the hell do you think introduced you two? ME!" she said, empahsizing 'me'. She groaned. Bray. its your fault im like this. now make me better." she whined, sticking her bottom lip out in a pout.[/ul][/blockquote]

Brayden laughed when she smacked his hand away from her stomach. "Aww, you really are hung over. Lightweight" he joked, taking his hand back and ending his drumming onto the wood. By now he was sure Halley wasn't feeling well, and her day must have sucked so he decided he wasn't going to add to the stress. He too had a pretty bad morning, but his day was gradually getting better and now he was just fine, to bad Halley wasn't feeling the same.
He laughed when she questioned his drinking stamina, "Yeah, us" he said in defense. "You shouldn't have done all those shots if you knew you weren't going to be able to handle it" he joked with a shrug, placing his hand back on her stomach. "Yeah, we were fine" he said with a smile, looking overr to her. "Oh okay, since I shoved tequila down your thoat it's all my fault." he agreed. "What do you want me to do, comfort you and just make it all go away?" he asked in his sympathetic tone again.

------------------------ she wrinkled her nose. "Dont call me that." she whined, shaking her head. She really wasnt a lightweight. obviously, Brayden didnt remember a thing from the night before.
"It wasnt the shots smart ass. It was you and Chandler singing karaoke in my damn ear all night." she sai, acting like she wanted to cry. the tequila probably really was the real reason, but she wasnt about to admit that. the singing had been horrible. so she would blame it on that. She felt his hand go back to her stomach, but she didnt move it this time. She sighed. "I dont care what the hell you do. unless you want me to stay in this mood, you better do somethin, and quick." she said, looking over at him with a serious look on her face. she kenw that Brayden wouldnt be able to handle her like this too much longer.[/ul][/blockquote]

Bray smiled when she whined at him for calling her a lightweight, he just shrugged and looked back to her. Okay, obviously she wasn't a lightweight if she suffered from a hang over like this, but Brayden always did like to tease, regardless of the hang over and her bad mood.
He gave her a look and replied back, "Yeah, okay. If you say it wasn't the shots, then I guess it wasn't the shots" he said to her, in a tone that showed his disbelief. He waited for her to finish complaining before replying back. Maybe he should have just left her alone, she wasn't feeling too good and was in a really bad mood right now. But it was always the job of the boyfriend to just absorb the girl's insults and wait for them to apologize or make up for it later. He smiled, "Well why don't you just relax, just calm down and breathe" he said. "Your stressing too much." he added, running his hand down the side of her face. "But if you wanna relieve some stress, I could run and grab a blanket or something and we could go in the woods somewhere" he joked with a grin. "Angry sex always helps with relieving stress" he added.

------------------------ She knew that he didnt believe that they had sang the night before, but she wasnt about to argue with him. she rubbed her hands over her eyes, yawning. "I want to go to bed." she said, rubbing her eyes some more.
"Bray. hun, im laying on a picnic table. i can only relax so much..." she said, looking down at the table she was on , then back up at him, giving him a look. she glared at him. "Is that your solution for everything?" she asked, rolling her eyes. she looked towards teh water. "Id go swimming, but I dont have my swimsuit..." she started. she caught his eye, and knew what he was thinking. "And skinny dipping is out." she added quickly, shaking her head.[/ul][/blockquote]

Brayden smiled when she rubbed her eyes and yawned, wanting to go to be. "The poor baby's tired" he teased rubbing his stomach some more. He was only joking and he was wide which made his teasing seem a bit excessive.
He rolled his eyes when she stated that she was uncomfortable on the picnic table. It was made out of wood, true, how comfortable could she be? "Halley, babe, people have invented these things call chairs, couches and even beds. There inside these large living places that we call dorms." he spoke in simple terms for her, just mocking her. He smirked about the sex comment, "Well it would make you feel better" he said to her. He exhaled and looked out to the water, "I wasn't even going to suggest skinny dipping" he lied. "You know me better then that." he added. "If your that tired we could always go inside, then again we could always get in the water with our clothes on." he said carelessly, atleast for Bray, with his shorts on.

------------------------ she smirked. "yes. the poor baby IS tired." she repeated, nodding. She let out a small laugh, sitting up. her back was already killing her. she rolled her eyes, grabbing his hand. "Im not a dog, thanks." she said, setting it on teh table.
she glared at him. then, she looked shocked. "Oh my god! I never knew that!" she said, rolling her eyes and pushing him lightly on the shoulder. "YOU stay cooped up in your dorm all day, and see how long you last." she said, frowning. "Your right. I do know you." she said, nodding. she knew that was the next thing that was going to come out of his mouth, but she had beat him to the punch. she laughed. "HA! Brayden Matthews, I know you too well. theres no way that your going to let me get in the water with my clothes on. im your girlfriend for gods sakes." she said, rolling her eyes.[/ul][/blockquote]

He smiled when she laughed and sat up as he rubbed her stomach, treating her like a dog. I wasn't anything serious, not in the 'I own you way'. That same goofy grin appeared across his face, the one that he was sure she was fimiliar with. "That's a good girl" he joked, leaning in for a quick kiss and pulling away.
He smiled back at her and recovered from the playful shove at his shoulder. "Well I have friends to see, so it's impossible for me to stay inside all day" he spoke arrogantly. Bray wanted to believe he was popular, mostly becuase he kind of was, but bragging was a part of Brayden that everyone just had to get use to. He smiled back at her and folded his arms when she told his that she wasn't going into the water. He threw off his shirt and picked her up, flinging her over his shoulder. "Yeah, you do know me, too well don't you. And you are my girlfriend and I love you very much, so you know I'm gonna drag you into the water with me right?" he said to her with a laugh, standing up. "So you either take off your clothes and come swimming with me, or I'm taking you in with all your clothes....cellphone and all" he said, waiting for her to make a decision.

------------------------ She glared at him, but kissed him back, smirking as he pulled away, shaking her head at the same goofy grin he had plastered to his face.
Her jaw dropped at his comment, and she glared at him. "well, excuse me. just so you know, you only have friends because your dating MOI!" she said snobbishly, sticking her nose in the air and placing a hand on her chest. she smiled, letting him know that she was joking. If brayden was going to brag, then so was she. she knew that it got on peoples nerves that they both were so fond of theirselves, but hey. what wasnt to love right?
somehow, through all the excitement, amazingly, her headache had faded to a dull throb. she could at least move without pain shooting through her brain, which was good, because of what brayden did next. before she knew it, in what seemed to be a matter of seconds, brayden had taken his shirt off, and had picked her up, and thrown her over her shoulder. "Brayden Matthews. You put me down right now, so help me god..." she screamed, latching onto him. she heard him speak again, and her eyes widened, though he couldnt see them. She thought for a minute, then spoke. "You know, if you want to see me in my bra and underwear, all you had to do was ask nicely." she stated, shaking her head. She groaned. not her cellphone. the device was pretty much her life, and he knew that. she bit her lip. "You wouldnt do that." she stated matter of factly, though she chanced taking one of her hands away from her death grip on him back, to her hoodie pocket, where she latched onto her phone, ready to throw it into the grass before she reached the water.[/ul][/blockquote]

Brayden laughed and smiled as she flailed and shifted in his arms, dangling halfway over his shoulder. He knew she would instantly agree to going for a swim now, now that her precious phone was threatened. Bray didn't have his phone with him, luckily it was inside charging, or else he would probably reconsider the sudden swim in the lake. If her cellphone did get ruined, he assumed she would cry and whin and force him to buy her a new one first thing in the morning and still be mad at him, but that was a risk Bray was willing to take.
Bray heard her yell as he held her over his shoulder. He stood up and walked into the open, "I did ask nicely. I kindly offered you sex and you denied." he joked. "So now I force you to swim with me" he added with a laugh, kicking off his adidas sandals. He didn't have anything to lose, he was just fine with getting wet, though he didn't think Halley would be too happy. He laughed took off his socks, holding her with one of his arms, "Oh, I wouldn't." he said with a raised eyebrow. "Okay" he added with a sigh, shaking his head, closing in on the edge of the lake.

------------------------ if brayden thought that she was pissed now, he had no clue what was coming if he put her in that water fully dressed. hopefully she would be able to save her cell phone, but if it ended up getting wet, he was going to buy her a new phone. there was no doubt about that.
she rolled her eyes. "You know, you really are a pain in the ass." she said, patting him on the back. "Your just pissed because i said no." she stated matter of factly. She looked down, and saw that he was taking his shoes off. she yelped, squirming around a little. "Damnit Brayden. if you insist on doing this, at least take my shoes off." she said, moving her feet around and looking behind her at her shoes. they were brand new, and she didnt want to ruin them. "please?" she asked sweetly, sticking her bottom lip out. she felt them moving towards the water, and she screamed. "NO!" she yelped, squirming around some more.
