Who You Really Are; Real Name (nickname): Mackenzie.Kay Age: 13 How long have you done this? Three years probably How good are you at graphics? bleh. i suck
Who You Control; The Easy Stuff; Full Name: Grace Lyons Keenan Age: 16 Grade: Sophomore Birthday: [day&month] December 12
The Looks; Celebrity Used: Hannabeth Sample Picture (Please Don't Stretch Screen):
General Appearance (2-3 well written paragraphs): Grace has a very normal teen body. She is skinny, but she's not starving herself. She has long hair, but dyes it occasionally. She has style, but tends to drop the fashion rules at times. Grace likes to be different, and that’s that. She doesn't starve herself for boys to like her. She wants them to like her for her personality. Looks matter, but not a lot. She doesn't want to dye her hair blonde just to be a cheerleader. She keeps it brown, unless she wants to add some colors into it. And even though she is quite a fashion diva, she loves to mix-n-match. Always.
Grace is an all around pretty girl. She doesn't have her mom's hair, but her father's. It's a pretty plain color. Brunette. Boring dull, and not a lot going on with it. Grace tends to keep her hair down, for she is a very lazy person, but when it’s up, it really shows off her face. At least, that’s what her mom says. Grace doesn't really care, to tell you the truth. As long as her hair is clean and not knotty, her hair is perfect. Blue, red, pink, and all sorts of colors may be assembled in her hair at points..
Brown eyes. Not unique like cartoon characters. She doesn't have purple, teal, or orange eyes. And she doesn't need contacts for she can't use the color contacts. Her eyes are big though. Big and warm. She can be full of hate, but her eyes don't reveal it. They are always warm, fun to stare at too. Some people say that she could do the "puppy dog look" and actually get something out of it. Grace shakes her head at the thought, why would anyone want to look like a puppy anyways?
Her skin tone isn't something to get excited about. She doesn't tan easily. But she also doesn't burn. Why? She doesn't like going outside when it’s hot out. Grace would rather sit inside and relax under the air conditioning instead of having to put on sunscreen and roast outside. Of course, some days she will go for a swim at the beach or local pool, but that’s only sometimes. Oh, and you will never catch Grace at 'Hollywood Tans'. It's bad for your body and it looks fake anyway.
The Charm; Fears (at least 3): - dying - getting murdered - spiders Hobbies (at least 3): - taking pictures - talking with friends - posing Likes (at least 5): - fall - animals - camera - dogs - boys - bands Dislikes (at least 5): - valentine's day - kid-nappers - drugs - cats - cows
General Personality (2-3 well written paragraphs): BOLD Dare-devil some may call her, but instead of giving a fight about it, Grace just smiles, nods and agrees. Why? That’s exactly what she is. Being the 'little girl' in the family, Grace likes to show people that she can me tough and extreme just like older kids can. She loves that she can ride a roller coaster and not chicken out. She loves bungee jumping. She lives.. anything that it extreme. Though being friends with her you might end up with some inquires, but most of the time, you are never disappointed.
OUT-GOING Even though most people will stick out their tongue, point, call her names, or just pretend she isn't there, Grace is very outgoing. Just.. no one gets to see it. When she cracks jokes, she is just trying to get people to laugh. When she waves, she isn't trying to mock you. Grace can actually show manners and respect to her fellow classmates, just, no one likes to listen to her. Even though many people don't like her, she does have friends. If she didn't she would be half way around the world by now trying to find new ones and bring them back. Not to make her look cool and social, but to show people that she CAN be, even though she doesn't mind that they can't see that..
PARTIER Grace loves to be the center of attention, and what’s a better way to do so then to show up at every party and drink, dance, and flirt. She has never gone completely wild at parties though. She knows when to stop drinking, and she knows that it's wrong to "play" with a friend's boyfriend. So when she comes to the situation she either calmly goes away, asks someone to drive her home, or slap the boy a few times. Knock some sense into him! And even though she has gotten drunk quite a few times, she has never tried drugs. That’s how her dad died anyways, and she isn't going to end up like him.
A NONE CARER Rumors are never a good sign. They ruin friendships, relationships, and people. Some people will burst out crying, others will pretend to be strong, but somehow people always manage to bring them down again. Grace, though, can keep her head up high and let the rumors slip past her. She doesn't care what others think about her, it’s what the person thinks of them self that really matters. It may be a good thing to be friends with Grace. She will try her hardest to cheer you up and make you laugh, and then somehow end up getting back at that one person. It's a win/loose situation, but sometimes risks are good.
HAPPY Over all, when you look at Grace you will see a smile pasted on her face. It's not a fake smile, although she does give those occasionally, it's a real, happy smile. A smile not seen a lot in the high school years. Grace always finds a way to make bad things look good. If your cat got run over, she'll try her hardest to make you laugh, feel better, or will joke saying, "Cats do have nine lives..". It may not work all the time, but usually a small smile will creep on the other person's face.
The Past; Birth Place: New York Hometown: New York General History (3 well written paragraphs): Grace's history could be told over and over again, and yet every time people would get the chills. Grace hates talking about her past, for it scares even her, but somehow it slips out. People always say that it’s good to talk about things that scare you, haunt you, but it also brings back the memories that you have once forgotten. Like how Grace never met her real father, or how her older brother died from her step-father. This isn't a normal, peaceful, history. It's more like a scary movie that keeps repeating itself.
About eighteen years ago, in Germany, Lisa Lehr, twenty six year old women, was in an art museum. Lisa had always loved art, and still does to this day, but she would never go back at that museum. When she finally left the art museum, it was late, dark, and she didn't know where her car was. Lisa wandered around the city, following random people, hoping to pass by a police station. She didn't. Around midnight she gave up searching for her car, claiming she would find it in the morning light, and followed a woman into a club. There she rested, drank, danced, and ate. Lisa never really liked the taste of alcohol, but today it felt so good going down her throat. She kept getting beers until she was drunk. Really drunk.
A man that had been sitting next to Lisa had been watching. Lisa was a very pretty woman. With fiery, curly, red hair that twirled down to her mid-back. He had been drinking to, and beer turned even the most respectable men into dangerous fools. They talked, slurring words as they spoke, and soon ended up dancing. They danced a lot, and around three A.M, they both got tired. The man, named James, brought Lisa into a cheesy 'Bed-N-Breakfast'. Things led to another and soon they were both naked in the bed. They had sex, and a baby was now forming slowly in Lisa.
When Lisa woke up the next day, James was gone. She had been drunk last night, but not drunk enough to forget what happened. She sat in the bed, shaking her head, and staring out the window before pulling on her clothes and booking a plane ticket to New York.
Five months into her pregnancy, Lisa met another guy. This time it wasn't at a club, but at her office. They started to go out. He was a very nice man. Kind to her, and very supportive of the baby to come. He helped Lisa pick out the name Grace for a girl, and Griffin for a boy. Eight months into the pregnancy the two were still going out. They both thought that they were going to be soul mates. Each day Lisa would hope that he would propose, but Ryan never had the guts. A week before Lisa's due date, Ryan proposed. Lisa agreed quickly, thinking that they would be the perfect family, but she was wrong.
While Ryan was at work the next week he heard news that Lisa's water broke. She was already at the hospital and all Ryan had to do was to get there. He rushed there, but sadly didn't make it. Ryan was in such a hurry that he went past a red light, his car interacting with another as he did. Both people in the cars died instantly.
By the time that Lisa heard the news, her baby was already born. She was a girl, and Lisa had named her Grace Lynn. Lisa was very overwhelmed by the loss of her husband and cried for days. She did, however, take the time to look after Grace. Ryan and herself had promised to look after the baby no matter what happened.
At the tender age of two, Grace's mom met another man. This time off a website. Lisa had become desperate for someone to love her, and she wanted to love someone back. By the time that Grace had turned two, Lisa had dated about fifteen different men, slept with them, and then dumped them. Grace didn't know this yet, but this would keep on happening for a while.
Now at the age of five, Grace was growing up well. When her mom wasn't busy trying to find new men, she looked after Grace very well. She fed and bought new clothes for Grace. She introduced Barney, Barbie's, and Pooh Bear. Grace didn't have a lot of interest for some of the things, but some she did. At one point her mom dated a man who had a son. The boy was eight when Grace was five and the boy introduced Grace to music. Young Alex listened to the music his older sister, who was twelve, listened to which included songs that aren't on sesame street. Grace liked the songs and made her mom buy her the CD's. Although her mom protested, she did anyways.
When Grace was nine her mom got engaged and married a man named Scott. He seemed alright, and he had a son. Brian, who was sixteen, wasn't just "that boy". He was Grace's idol and best friend. He didn't do drugs, drink, or anything that his father did. He played with Grace and told her jokes. Brian helped Grace with homework and always gave her advice on friendship.
Grace loved him, and was happy at the thought of them being siblings forever. But, when Grace turned eleven, Brian died. Scott killed Brian for not doing drugs. Scott was high at the time and forced Brian with a gun to try drugs, Brian refused and got shot. The death shattered Grace and Lisa, who both loved the boy dearly. Lisa divorced Scott and moved for California, where they still live today.
Lisa stopped dating for a while, and only started again when Grace started high school. By now, Grace's personality had changed a lot. She tried to be like Brian, but part of her became bitter and sour. She stopped following the drama and started not caring. She started working at store's to help her mom pay for the small two bedroom apartment. And even though part of her is broken, she still is one very happy girl..
